 [TV리포트=한수지 기자] '세이렌' 김정현이 죽은 줄 알았던 박민영의 약혼자 김동준이라는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 
 24일 방송된 tvN 월화드라마 '세이렌' 8회에서는 백준범(김정현 분)이 정체를 드러내고 한설아(박민영 분)에게 집착하는 모습이 그려졌다. 
 이날 한설아는 백준범에게 "정체가 뭐냐, 수호를 알면서 나에게 접근한 목적이 무엇이냐"고 따졌다. 백준범은 "수호가 한설아라는 여자 때문에 기뻐하고 슬퍼하고 괴로워하는 걸 보며 항상 궁금했다. 설아 씨를 처음 본 순간 알았다. 남자가 목숨을 걸 만한 여자구나"라고 속내를 드러냈다. 한설아가 "친구를 죽게 한 여자에게 반한 거냐"고 묻자 그는 "수호가 살아있었다면 감히 생각도 못했겠지만, 친구는 세상에 없고 우리는 같은 하늘 아래 있다"고 답했다.
 그때 화재경보가 울렸고 백준범은 갑자기 두통을 호소하며 트라우마에 시달렸다. 한설아를 돌려보낸 뒤 CCTV를 확인한 백준범은 차우석이 자신이 차 사고로 제거하려 했던 인물임을 알아채고 "이렇게 빨리 올 줄은 몰랐는데"라며 의미심장하게 중얼거렸다. 미리 자리를 지키고 있던 차우석은 한설아가 위험에 처하자 화재경보를 울려 그를 구한 것이었다.

 한설아와 차우석은 백준범이 이광진 팀장을 살해하려 한 배후라고 의심하며 공조를 시작했다. 두 사람은 보험사기와 연루된 미술품 위작 유통 수법을 파헤쳤다. 한설아는 "해외 갤러리에서 내놓은 작품들의 실제 주인이 우리 회장이었다. 15억에 낙찰받은 작품을 실제로는 해외에서 3억에 들여왔다"고 밝혔다. 차우석은 "진품을 빼돌리고 위작을 태운 거냐"고 물었고 한설아는 "그게 우리 회장 수법"이라고 확인했다.
 백준범의 홍채가 달라진 것을 눈치챈 차우석은 "백준범의 얼굴을 한 다른 사람일지도 모른다"며 의심을 키웠다. 한설아 역시 이수호가 백준범으로 위장해 나타난 것이 아닐까 하는 생각을 지울 수 없었다. 결국 두 사람은 DNA를 확인하기 위해 아나필락시스 쇼크를 유발하는 약물을 샴페인에 섞어 백준범에게 전달하고, 그가 사용한 알레르기 억제 주사를 몰래 챙겨 검사를 의뢰했다.

 한설아는 백준범의 집이 이수호가 꿈에 그리던 집이라는 것을 보고 그가 이수호임을 확신했다. 백준범은 "첫 해엔 땅을 고르고 그 다음엔 집을 지었다. 설아 씨에게 가장 먼저 보여주고 싶었다"고 말했다. 한설아가 "수호야"라고 부르자 그는 마침내 정체를 인정했다. 사고로 얼굴과 성대를 잃은 이수호는 재건술을 통해 백준범으로 다시 태어난 것이었다.
 이수호는 "네가 버린 이수호는 한없이 초라했지만 백준범의 삶은 달랐다. 이미 너 때문에 한 번 죽었는데 두 번은 못 죽을 것 같냐. 난 이번 생에 너랑 떨어질 생각이 없다"며 집착을 드러냈다.
 DNA 검사로 백준범이 이수호임을 확인한 차우석은 충격을 받고 한설아에게 달려갔다. 그러나 그곳에는 피를 흘리며 쓰러진 백준범과 손에 피를 묻힌 한설아의 모습이 기다리고 있었다.
