 쿠로게임즈의 '명조: 워더링 웨이브'를 일산 킨텍스에서 만나는 경험은 두 번째다. 2024년에는 AGF 메인 스폰서로 참가하며 킨텍스에서 모습을 드러냈지만 명조만을 위한 공간은 아니었다. 
 이번에는 다르다. 오로지 명조만을 위한 축제다. 5월 30일부터 6월 1일까지 개최되는 띵조 페스티벌은 첫날부터 많은 방랑자들이 발걸음을 옮기며 평일임에도 엄청난 인파를 자랑했다.
 오픈런 시간에 맞춰서 진입했음에도 얼마 지나지 않아 수많은 사람들이 행사장에 모여들었다. 첫 오프라인 행사였던 '띵조랜드 in 홍대'를 생각하면 명조가 얼마나 많은 발전이 이뤄졌는지 실감이 든다.
 현장 내부는 체험형 부스인 인터랙티브 존, 공식 굿즈 구매샵 및 2차 창작 존, 다양한 현장 이벤트를 진행하는 메인 스테이지, 휴게 공간인 솔라리스 존으로 구성됐다.

 처음 입장할 때 에스컬레이터를 따라 내려가면 행사 현장이 한눈에 보인다. 1주년을 기념하는 거대한 케이크와 먼저 마주하는데 인게임과 똑같이 생겼다. 케이크를 기준으로 좌측은 스탬프 이벤트를 진행하는 인터랙티브 존, 우측은 굿즈 구매 공간 및 휴게 공간으로 이어지니 참고하면 좋다.
 예상대로 굿즈 구매샵은 처음부터 엄청난 줄을 자랑했다. 현실적으로 스탬프 이벤트를 먼저 진행하려 하면 원하는 굿즈를 구매하기까지 시간이 엄청나게 소요되니 선택이 중요하다. 반드시 소유하고 싶은 굿즈가 있다면 굿즈샵을 먼저 대기하고, 이후 스탬프 이벤트를 참여하는 것을 추천한다.

 현장에 왔다면 스탬프 이벤트는 반드시 진행하면 좋다. 돈과 시간을 들여 기껏 현장에 왔는데 최대한 즐기고 가야 하지 않겠는가. 스탬프를 모두 수령하면 추첨을 통해 다양한 굿즈를 얻을 수 있으니 실보다 득이 많다.
 현장 관리는 조금 아쉬웠다. 메인 무대를 기준으로 좌측은 스탬프 이벤트 수령소, 우측은 휴게 공간이었기에 대부분 볼 일을 마친 방문객들이 주로 위치한 곳이다. 현장에서 이벤트를 진행할 때마다 스탬프 수령을 위한 줄이 꼬이거나 방문객들끼리 동선이 꼬이는 등 부작용이 있었다.

 현장 스태프들이 최대한 열심히 관리를 이어갔지만 정말 많은 인파가 몰렸기에 한계가 있었다. 그나마 티켓을 예매하고 시간에 따라 입장하는 방식인지라 인원 관리가 불가능하지는 않았다. 다행히 방문객들도 스태프 안내에 적극적으로 협조하고 서로 양보하는 훈훈한 모습을 보여 불상사로 번지지는 않았다.
 띵조 페스티벌은 말 그대로 명조 유저들을 위한 축제였다. 한국에서 지속적으로 오프라인 이벤트를 대규모로 개최해 주며 여러 방면으로 게임에 재투자를 하고 있음을 명확히 보여주고 있다.
 스탬프 이벤트를 모두 완료한 방랑자에게 행사 소감을 물어보니 "오픈 때부터 명조를 즐겼는데, 이렇게 유저들에게 계속 보답하는 모습을 보여주니 게임을 즐길 맛이 난다, 특히 스탬프 이벤트 우측에 연각 레벨 80을 달성한 방랑자에게 주는 보상이 따로 존재하는 것을 보고 열심히 하기를 잘했다는 생각이 들었다"며 만족했다.
 뜨거운 열기를 보여줬던 띵조 페스티벌, 그 현장이 어떠했는지 사진으로 담아봤다.
