[IT뉴스]Graphy Named Top Tier “Strong+” Company in Global SME Program

 [이데일리 나은경 기자] Graphy, a 3D printing medical materials company, said on April 8 that it has been selected as a “Strong+” company, the highest tier, in the government-led Global SME 1000+ Project.
 The Global SME 1000+ Project, overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is a key national export support initiative designed to systematically foster globally competitive small and mid-sized companies. Participants are classified into four tiers based on export volume and growth potential: promising, growth, strong, and strong+.
 The “Strong+” designation represents the highest level. It is awarded to companies with annual exports exceeding $10 million that demonstrate strong technological competitiveness, global market scalability, and sustainable growth potential. Only about 10% to 15% of participating companies qualify for this top tier.
 Graphy was first selected in 2024 and has been reselected in 2026, reinforcing its position as a high growth export company capable of sustained expansion in global markets.
 A key factor behind the latest recognition is Graphy’s proprietary Shape Memory Aligner technology based on direct 3D printing.
 Conventional clear aligner manufacturing requires physical model production, thermoforming, and multi-step processes. In contrast, Graphy’s SMA technology uses a digital data-based direct printing method that simplifies production and significantly improves efficiency. This enables up to 30% to 50% reduction in production lead time, lower material usage, and improved cost efficiency through fewer process steps.
 The SMA material leverages shape recovery properties at oral temperature to deliver continuous and uniform orthodontic force, enhancing both treatment stability and predictability compared with conventional methods.
 Backed by its technology-driven competitiveness, Graphy has recorded rapid export growth across major markets including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, expanding its presence in the global digital dentistry market.
 The global clear aligner market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of about 20% to 25%, reaching approximately $30 billion by 2030. Digital-based direct manufacturing is emerging as a key industry trend.
 With the Strong+ designation, Graphy will receive a range of policy support, including export vouchers, overseas marketing and market entry assistance, preferential interest rates and expanded export financing, higher guarantee and insurance limits, and additional points in government R&amp;D programs.
 The export voucher program alone can provide several hundred million won per company, supporting global exhibitions, academic conferences, and digital marketing initiatives aimed at expanding overseas presence.
 Leveraging this support, Graphy plans to advance its global production and supply systems while developing AI-based digital orthodontic platforms and integrated solutions. The company aims to evolve into a comprehensive digital dentistry provider spanning materials, software, and clinical applications.
 A Graphy official said the Strong+ designation reflects not only export performance but also recognition of the company’s technology and growth potential in global markets. The official added that, having surpassed $10 million in annual exports, the company aims to achieve double-digit global market share within three years and establish itself as a leader in setting standards for the digital orthodontics market.
