 조기자 : 안녕하세요 검떠님, 반갑습니다. 오늘은 하드웨어적인 접근이군요. 각 콘솔 게임기 어댑터와 극성, 용량 등에 대해 살펴보게 되겠네요. 
 검떠: 그렇습니다. 이 어댑터가 용량과 극성, 그리고 규격이 다 다르기 때문에, 꼼꼼하게 살펴서 연결하지 않으면 큰일납니다. 게다가 접지가 잘 안되거나 싸구려를 쓰면 화면에 노이즈가 낄 수도 있거든요. 그래서 철저하게 잘 관리를 해서 다루어야 합니다. 
 조기자: 이번에 넷마블 박물관 작업을 하면서 어댑터 제작에 관련했던 터라, 이번 기회에 싹 한 번 정리를 한다는 생각으로 이번 포스팅을 준비하게 되었습니다.

 검떠: 닌텐도는 그래도 양심적으로 자사 게임기들 어댑터를 대부분 통일해두었죠. 패미콤, 패미콤 디스크 시스템, 슈퍼 패미콤, 뉴 패미콤, 패미콤 주니어, 버추얼 보이에 이르기까지 가정용 게임기들은 다 자사 규격에 맞추었습니다. 그래서 닌텐도 게임기에 쓰던 어댑터는 닌텐도 게임기에 그대로 적용이 되었죠.

 검떠: 기본적으로 국내에서 어댑터를 연결하시려면 AC 220V 어댑터를 주문하셔야 합니다. 일본에서 주문한 어댑터는 100V만 지원할 가능성이 높거든요. 가급적 AC 전압을 파악하셔서 사용하세요.
 이렇게 AC 220V로 넣은 후 아웃풋을 보셔야 하는데, 보통 9V 1A 활용하시면 됩니다. 플러그 외경5.5mm 내경2.1mm 입니다.

 이렇게 외우시면 됩니다. DC의 경우 뒤에 A가 더 높은 어댑터를 쓰시면 됩니다. 예를 들어 9V 1A 어댑터를 쓰시면 되는데, 9V 2A나 9V 3A도 상관없습니다. 그리고 내경이 + 인지 외경이 + 인지 체크하셔야합니다!!

 검떠: 닌텐도 64는 전용 어댑터를 사용해서, 전용 어댑터를 구해서 연결하셔야 합니다 .제품명은 NUS－002 입니다.
 출력 전압을 보면 DC 3.3V에 2.7A 와, DC 12V에 0.8A 2개로 나뉘어집니다. 
 독특한 자체 어댑터를 쓰시기 때문에 동일한 어댑터를 구하는 방법 밖에 없습니다.

 검떠: 닌텐도 게임큐브는 어댑터 꼭다리가 다른 한쪽을 둥글게 깎은 형태로 되어 있습니다. 오리지널 어댑터의 상품명은 DOL－002 입니다.
 출력이 DC 12V 3.25A 이기 때문에, 정품 어댑터가 고장나면 꼭다리만 잘라서 상용화되어 있는 12V 5A 어댑터를 구해서 연결하면 사용할 수 있습니다.

 검떠: 닌텐도 위도 전용 어댑터를 사용합니다. 한쪽 모서리가 대각선으로 깎여 있는 5각형 꼭다리를 확인할 수 있습니다. 모델명은 
 RVL－002 입니다. 
 출력이 DC12V 3.7A 이기 때문에, 어댑터가 고장일 경우 꼭다리를 잘라서 12V 5A 어댑터에 연결하면 됩니다.
