 [TV리포트=한수지 기자] '이강에는 달이 흐른다' 강태오가 짐조 사건의 배후를 밝혀냈다.
 5일 방송된 MBC 금토드라마 '이강에는 달이 흐른다' 9화에서 이강(강태오 분)는 박달이(김세정 분)에게 자신의 마음을 고백하고 입을 맞췄다. 
 박달이는 이강의 선물로 우산을 받고 기쁜 마음에 손가락을 다쳐가며 호박죽을 만들었다. 이강은 차마 호박죽이 맛 없다고 말하지 못하고 두 그릇이나 비우다 결국 급체했다. 박달이는 체한 이강의 손을 따줬고, 이강은 크게 트름을 했다. 
 달이는 이강의 피묻은 손을 닦아주려 천을 빨았다. 이를 본 이강은 "다친 손을 왜 물 속에 넣어? 덧나게"라며 물 속에 있는 박달이의 손을 잡았다. 그러자 두 사람의 몸이 또다시 뒤바뀌고 말았다. 
 그때 좌상이 소훈 달이를 찾아왔다. 이강(김세정 분)은 "한점 부끄러움이 없으니 못 갈 것도 없다"며 좌상을 따라나섰다. 
 좌상과 마주한 이강은 "나인 시절 전 제조상궁이 저에게 불임약을 먹이려 비밀감옥에 끌고갔다. 그때 알았다. 비밀감옥의 존재도 새끼 짐조도"라고 말했다. 
 좌상은 "새끼로 어미를 유인한 까닭은 무엇인가"라고 물었고 이강은 "백성들 사이 짐조 소문이 돌아 민심이 흉흉하니 그 괴조를 직접 잡아 배후를 밝혀내는 것이 당연한 거 아니냐? 해서 좌상도 이 사람을 조사하는 거 아니냐? 어쩌면 역적일지도 모를 짐조 주인을 찾기 위해"라고 했다. 돌아온 이강은 달이에게 "좌상이 내 뜻내로 움직여 준다. 제조상궁을 조사한다고 했다"라고 설명했다. 
 몸이 바뀐 이유를 찾던 달이(강태오 분)는 몸이 바뀌는 데에 물과 피가 필요하다는 것을 깨달았다. 이에 달이는 자신과 이강의 손에 바늘로 피를 내고 대야에 손을 넣어서 몸을 바꾸는데 성공했다.

 달이는 "피랑 물이었다. 지랑 저하랑 몸에 상처가 나고 그게 동시에 물에 싹 씻기면 몸이 바뀌는 거였다"라며 박수를 쳤다. 그러자 이강은 "아프다고 네 손"이라고 걱정하며 다친 달이의 손을 잡고 치료했다.
 이강은 꽃신 신는 삶을 원했던 달이에게 깜짝 이벤트를 준비했다. 꽃잎이 가득 깔린 길 양옆에는 꽃신이 놓여있었고, 길 끝에는 빨간 꽃신이 있었다. 이강은 "네 꿈 안에 내 꿈을 넣어놨지"라며 꽃신 안에 넣어둔 꽃반지를 선물었다. 
 이강은 뇌물이냐고 묻는 박달이에게 "뇌물은 아니고, 예물"이라며 "나는 지금 너한테 청혼을 하는 중이다. 세자로서가 아니라 한 사내로서 내가 연모하는 여인에게 나의 유일한 반려가 되어 달라 허락을 구하는 중이다. 나의 아내가 되어 주겠느냐"라고 고백했다. 달이는 행복한 얼굴로 웃으며 고개를 끄덕였다. 그렇게 두 사람은 첫날밤을 보냈다. 
 전 제조상궁 조카의 주리를 틀어 거짓 자백을 받아낸 좌상은 새끼 짐조로 어미를 유인한 소훈 달이를 역모로 몰았다. 달이를 본 이희(김남희 분)는 폐빈과 꼭 닮은 박달이의 얼굴에 흠짓 놀랐다. 그러자 전 제조상궁의 조카는 "소훈 자가(달이)가 죽었다고 알려진 폐빈"이라고 말했다. 
 이 가운데 이강은 동굴에서 좌상의 집과 이어진 비밀통로를 발견했다. 위기의 상황에서 달이는 기지를 발휘해 제조상궁의 말이 거짓이라는 것을 밝혀내며 자신의 누명을 벗었다. 이때 이강이 도착했다. 이강은 "좌의정 김한철이 짐조 사건의 배후다. 인왕산 짐조 동굴과 좌상의 집이 연결된 비밀통로를 찾았다"라고 고했다. 
 좌상은 의금부에 끌려가 옥에 갇히게 됐다. 이희는 "소훈, 아니 빈궁을 죽여라"라고 명했다.
