 5일(수) 방송된 MBC 예능 프로그램 ‘라디오스타’ 900회에서는 김종민, 문세윤, 박나래, 코드 쿤스트가 출연한 '구관이 명관' 특집이 공개됐다. 
 이날 김종민이 지난 2007년부터 ‘1박 2일’에 합류했다며 18년째 장기근속이라고 밝혔다. 김구라가 “18년 동안 출연료 얼마나 올랐나?”라고 묻자, 김종민이 “올랐다. 충분히 만족한다”라고 답했다. 2016년 단독 대상 포함해 ‘KBS 연예대상’만 3번 수상했다는 것.

 장도연이 18년 동안 버텨낸 비결에 대해 궁금해했다. 이에 김구라가 “종민 씨가 색깔이 없다”라며 어떤 강한 색이 와도 녹아들 수 있는 백지라고 설명했다. 
 또한, 김종민은 ‘1박 2일’ 시즌1은 여행 자체가 중점, 시즌2는 말술이라며 “방송보다 술이 더 힘들었다”라고 시즌별 특징에 대해 밝혔다. 시즌3의 맏형인 고 김주혁에 대해서는 “따뜻한 햇살 같았다”라고 말했다. 또한, 시즌4 큰형이 된 현재 부담감이 있다며 “동생들이 제 말을 안 듣더라. 동생들한테 맡기는 편이다. 제 리더십은 기다림”이라고 전했다.
